Extravaganza 2014 Was Another Success

This year's 4-H Shooting Sports Extravaganza marked the 30th anniversary of the event and proved to be a success.  4-H Shooting Sports project members, coaches, and parents from across the state converged on the Texas 4-H Center on Lake Brownwood.  The event is designed for beginning shooters and coaches in the various discipline competitive events offered in 4-H; archery, pistol, rifle, shotgun.  The event allows those beginners an opportunity to experience a competitive event in a more relaxed, training environment without the stress and intimidation of an actual competition.  Additional plans are being made for next year's event to make it better and even more fun and educational.  A sneak preview spoiler is the addition of beginning coach events.  Check out the information for the 2015 event that will be posted in the next 4-H year.
Results of the 2014 Extravaganza listed by event, age division and individual are available by clicking here or  by selecting '2014 Results' under 'Extravaganza' on the 4-H Shooting Sports Project Webpage.

Thanks goes out to all volunteers who helped in organizing, setting up, and running this event.  It could not be accomplished with that help.
