New Workshop Opportunities

Quail Masters - Texas Deer Study Group 
Don't miss out on two great upcoming workshops.  Whether you are interested in quail or white-tailed deer, there is something here for you. 

QuailMasters is an intensive 4-part workshop focusing on quail biology, habitat needs and management considerations.  Each session builds on the previous to provide attendees with a thorough knowledge of quail and ways they can improve management.  This year's workshops will focus primarily in North Texas with the first session being held in Roby on April 27-29.  For more information or to register online please visit http://www.texas-wildlife.org/resources/events/quailmasters-2014

Opportunity for Discounted Archery Target Purchase

Arrangements have been made by a 4-H Volunteer Leader, Miles Willis, for the discounted purchase of archery targets (52" Round FITA Butts) from American Whitetails, Inc. Specifically the AR -152 model (http://www.archerytargets.com/152mat.aspx). This target is normally $310.95 each. Mr. Willis has coordinated with the owner of American Whitetails to sell them to 4-H for $239.95 each.

In order to minimize shipping costs and share this discount opportunity, he would like to extend invitation to other 4-H groups to participate. Target +approx shipping  $239.95+$50=$289.95

Targets must be ordered through Mr. Willis. They will be shipped to Taylor County, and arrangements made to get them to the other programs (arrange to meet half way, bring to events, etc.)
